Nice tea set for you little onesNice pieces but I didn't like the case as well as the sets that come in the basket style case. I have 9 nieces and 2 granddaughters I have been getting each of them one at a local state museum and paying around $40.00. Each they are made by royal dalton and are more of a heirloom quality. They were sold out when I needed a set for a friends daughter on her birthday so I ordered this set for her and she loves it. It appears to be of very good quality. And should be able to last a lifetime. 5Cute with it's Ups and Downs...My grandaughter loved this and I can't wait to go over and have our tea party, but as I was putting her in the car and closing it the pull tab broke right off! I hurriedly asked my son if he would glue it back and he said, "sure" but you know how that goes! My daughter in law says she likes it. Very cute fragile pieces ... my grandaughter is the type to LOVE to put things back exactly where they belong, so she will be happy with the plastic cut out shapes.4 Stars because the napkin was a satin RAG! It was lopsided and ragged all around. I took my pinking shears to it and made it pretty, and then put all back prior to gifting it to her! It's cute! 4Cute, small, not very well madeThese are adorable and my daughter loved them so really that s all that matters. I, on the other hand, was not very impressed. She played with this only a few times and I noticed the spoons did not fit very well into the handles. You can tell they are loose and they are REALLY small. I did not realize how small they were until I received them. She dropped the tea pot one time on the floor and it broke into multiple pieces. The cups were also way too small for a child to really drink anything out of it. The price was good, but I would not buy this again. 2Well-priced functional tea setThis tea set was just what my eight-year-old daughter wanted for hosting tea parties during playdates. She didn't like the full-size tea sets as they were too big and not dainty enough. The miniature tea sets were too tiny and could not be actually used to serve drinks and food on.This tea set is in between a full-sized tea set and a miniature one. It is perfect for serving tea/juice/water and also finger food. There are seventeen pieces altogether, packed in a sturdy pink vinyl carry case that is secured with a button clasp. The contents are:4.5 inches tall tea pot with lid4 tea cups4 saucers4 teaspoonsCreamerSugar BowlThe manufacturer claims the set is dishwasher safe but I just hand-washed them. There is a satin lining and I would also advise leaving the plastic inserts as it is easier to store them all back into the box without the pieces knocking into each other and getting chipped. 5Cute and pretty but don t...Very cute but smaller then I thought.So I don t know what I was thinking. I should have known better but I blocked out the mom voice that screamed bad idea and went with daughters wish. Just don t. Save yourself the heartache and order the trustee Doug and Mellisa tea set. It s plastic and durable and will withstand a whole house of tile floors.On the flip side... daughter loves it and is very happy. Unfortunately, we are already down a piece. Hopefully we still have a full set by the end of the week. Also, the cute carry case only works if you place everything back in the plastic packaging the tea set came packed in.This is not a hand it over to your four year old toy. So we will see... 4My kids love this cute porcelain set!Beautiful porcelain set! Cute flower detail. The spoons that came with it were all porcelain not metal and porcelain like the product shows, but prefer the porcelain anyway. My kids play with this set for about 30 minutes at a time! Great hard shell case too! 5Perfect for little ones!Perfect starter Tea set. My daughter was thrilled when she recieved her tea set. The case is very durable and keeps everything in place. We have had it for 2 years now and she has yet to break anything. The cups are tiny, perfect for little hands. We play with koolaid or juice and they wash out very easy. The little plates, spoons, and cups are cute and the design is bright and pretty.There is a snap that keeps this case closed. When we received it, the snap was already broken. But this was a Christmas gift and we didn't have time to return it. I would've given this set a 3-star because of the broken snap, but the set is really cute and I couldn't give it lower than a 4-start. Hopefully the snap was a fluke and other cases didn't have this problem. 4Love it! Great size! Looks even better in person!So I was reading some of the bad reviews, and in case anyone didn't know, child tea sets are supposed to be small. These are a great size for a small child (and are not dollhouse size). It was exactly this kind of cute trinket type stuff that I adored as a child. This will make a great keepsake gift for an 11 year olds birthday party. It looks much better in real life than in the picture too. Satisfied with purchase! 5Better than I thought.I love this set. It came with ceramic spoons unlike the picture (showing a metal and plastic spoon). This was a pleasant surprise!! The satin is not secured so I put it under the plastic from so it s still pretty and the prices are secure. We used them they make a mess while pouring. Form out of function. Lol. While it s ceramic it can take some abuse. I had a similar set when I was younger and still have 2 of 7 pieces I put on our Xmas tree. I lost the other prices while growing up. When the handles broke I was able to glue them and keep playing. I know we will have years of fun with this set 5
